A terrific trampoline trip

BRONSON TWP. — The 4-Leaf Clovers 4-H group met on April 12 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The meeting was called to order by President Caitlyn with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Meriella. Roll call for the meeting included stating the person's favorite fair ride. Announcements included reminders of participation and presenting a demonstration prior to the Huron County Fair by each member including the Cloverbuds. Reminders were also provided for Officer Training on April 13, and many other items for fair qualification dates. The Cloverbuds were dismissed and the meeting minutes from March 22 were read by Viola. Reports from the treasurer by Lily, health & safety by Ben, recycling by Evie, community service by Celia, and the news report by Tanner. Tanner reminded officers that a picture needs to be taken after the meeting. Old business included the results of the sausage sale included the sale of 1,565 pounds of sausage! Books for 4-H projects were also distributed during the meeting. New business included housekeeping rules, voting on providing two bags of sausage to the people who supported the sausage sale (Luke) and the person we use the church from (Betty). Our meeting adjourned at 7 p.m. Afterwards, demonstrations from Meriella (dance demonstration), Arianna (chemical reactions with vinegar), and Tanner (how to kick a football) were completed as well as a recreation activity by Kristy. Our next full meeting is on May 17. A reminder that members from last year's 4-H season awards will be given at Altitude Trampoline Park for the activity selected from last year on April 26.
