Norwalk Chevy dealership sold

NORWALK — A Norwalk car dealership recently changed hands. Firelands Chevrolet of Norwalk, located at 300 Milan Ave. (U.S. 250), sold to the Baumann Auto Group, according to a release from the Tim Lamb Group, which brokered the deal. The dealership will now be known as Baumann Chevrolet of Norwalk. "We are excited to add the Norwalk Chevrolet store to our growing portfolio in northwest Ohio," said Buck Baumann, owner of Baumann Auto Group. "This is the fourth transaction that we have done with Tim Lamb, and he has, once again, demonstrated his professionalism and deep industry knowledge throughout this entire process." The news release did not disclose financial details of the sale, which closed on March 25. Information from the Huron County auditor's website lists a $4 millon land sale at the dealership property recorded on April 1. Baumann Auto Group operates nine dealerships in Fremont, Tiffin, Genoa, Port Clinton, Oregon and Norwalk, representing Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, GMC, Cadillac and Ford along with two auto body shops.
