2 meetings from 4-Leaf Clovers

BRONSON TWP. — The 4-Leaf Clovers 4-H group met for their first meeting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on March 8. The meeting was called to order by Viola. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Harrison. Roll calls included a fun fact about each member. Announcements included Ohio 4-H week, March 8-14 and the Camp Counselor meeting on 3/9. Minutes and treasurer report were approved and there was no old business to discuss. New business included nominating officers for the 2026 4-H year. Results: President-Caitlyn, Vice President-Harrison, Secretary-Viola, Treasurer-Lily, News Reporter/Historian-Tanner, Recreation Leader-Kristy, Health & Safety-Ben, Recycling-Evie, and Community Service-Celia. After nominations, breakout sessions took place for a Project Fair and a cake decorating demonstration. The meeting was adjourned around 7pm. The 4-Leaf Clovers 4-H group also met on March 22 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The meeting was called to order by President Caitlyn. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Edith. Roll call discussed what project each participant was taking to the Huron County Fair. Announcements were to monitor the 4-H page and the Ohio State-Huron County Extension page for clinics and other information for projects as well as officer training to be on April 13 at 7 p.m. The Cloverbuds were dismissed and meeting minutes, treasurer, news, health & safety, and recycling reports were approved. Old business included a reminder for the sausage sale orders were due during this meeting. New business included turning money in for the sausage sales, 4-H booklet orders completed, as well as designing 2026 t-shirts for the group to vote on at the April 12 meeting. Demonstrations included how to use a foot rocket by Gordon and build a shelter of Legos by Harper. For recreation, Kristy had the group perform a squat challenge. The meeting was adjourned at 6:55pm.
