Get tickets to united fund's annual dinner

NORWALK — Tickets are now on sale for Norwalk Area United Fund's annual dinner and auction, titled United in Growth. The event is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, April 17 in the Expo Building at the Huron County Fairgrounds, 940 Fair Road, Norwalk. Tickets are $75 each and include a grazing table, dinner, bar, raffle, silent auctions and fun games. The evening also features a live auction with local auctioneer Don Sweeting, offering items, like trips to Nashville and Charleston, plus a VIP table for 12 at the 2027 Norwalk Area United Fund's annual dinner. People can purchase tickets by visiting norwalkareauf.org/nauf-annual-dinner. "This year, we will celebrate our Sowing Seeds, Growing Community campaign with a farm-to-table evening," said Carol Wheeler, executive director of Norwalk Area United Fund. "Currently, we are more than 90% of the way to our $550,000 goal, and we thank the community for its generosity," Wheeler added. "It's about supporting local nonprofits and programs that serve our community every single day." For $100, attendees also can buy one of only 100 golden tickets available. "At our event on April 17, we'll draw one lucky winner," Wheeler said. "That person walks away with the right to choose any live auction item first, before the bidding even begins."
