Candidates to visit Norwalk

NORWALK — Local voters can have a chance to speak to candidates running for county and state offices at an event next week. A candidate meet and greet is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, at First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Boulevard. Invited participants, who will be on the May primary ballot, are: • Myron Duhart, a Democratic incumbent judge on the Ohio 6th District Court of Appeals Note: Duhart is running against Republican CJ Kamm III in this November's general election. Neither has a primary opponent. • Cassaundra Fryman, a Libertarian who is running for Huron County commissioner Note: Fryman will be running against one of three Republicans — Terry Boose, Jeffery Ritz and Royden H. Smith — in the November general election. Fryman does not have a primary opponent and will run against the winner of the Republican primary. • Huron County Auditor Roland Tkach, a Democratic incumbent who is seeking re-election Note: Tkach is running unopposed in both the primary and general elections.
