Norwalk Kiwanis Students of the Month named

NORWALK — Norwalk's Kiwanis Club selected its students of the month for March. Norwalk High School students Grady Naseman, Jacob Rockwell and Thomas Vanderpool were chosen. Here is some information on each student provided by the high school: Grady Naseman Grady Naseman is the son of Jon and Jenifer Naseman. Grady is involved in Baseball, Basketball, Teen Leadership Corps, National Honor Society, Class Representative, Student Council, Fisher Titus Intro to Health Care Careers Internship, SIBF Money and Responsibility Travel Abroad Program, and Money Matters. He has been named to the Principal's List and Honor Roll. He was awarded the Austin Shadle Sportsmanship and Dedication and Three-Year Varsity Letter Award. His future plans are to attend The Ohio State University to study health sciences on a pre-med track. Jacob Rockwell Jacob Rockwell is the son of Jennifer and Daniel Rockwell. He is involved in Bowling, Select Choir, Thespian Society, Drama Club. He serves as the musical historian of the Thespian Society and Select Choir and received the Bowling Team Captain Award. Jacob plans to major in computer science/software engineering at BGSU. Thomas Vanderpool Thomas Vanderpool is the son of John and Monica Vanderpool. Tommy is a member of the NHS football team and was named a first team All-Ohio punter and a two-time first team All-SBC player. He was recognized as the most improved player in 2023. Tommy is in the National Honor Society and is a member of the Athletic Team Leadership Group. He plans to play football at Walsh and study business management.
