Motorists in Huron County will notice a handful of projects on the road in the coming days. Here's a roundup of what's happening and where: Greenwich Twp. • Ohio 13 between Alpha and Omega roads will close beginning Monday, Aug. 4. Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation will complete a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists will be Ohio 13 to U.S. 224 east to U.S. 250 west to Ohio 13 and reverse for southbound motorists, the agency stated. The stretch of road could be closed for nearly a month. Crews estimate the project will finish around Friday, Aug. 29. Norwalk • Starting Thursday, several city streets are set to get paved. Crews from Precision Paving will be resurfacing River Bend Drive, Sycamore Drive, Baker Street, Bouscay Avenue and Grand Avenue, according to a release from the city's public works office. Specific paving times and potential traffic impacts were not clear. • Beginning today, a Norwalk parking lot is getting a facelift. The lot at the corner of Clifton and State streets near McGuan Park will be reconstructed by Newcomer Concrete Services, a release states. "The project will consist of new sidewalks, storm drainage and resurfacing," the release states. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time. Please keep in mind this is a proposed schedule and is subject to change."
