Fighting hunger

The Huron County Junior Fair Board met on July 17. The meeting was called to order by president Daniel Green. Roll call was for members to state their major committee, minor committee, working group, and shirt size. Secretary's minutes were read by Izzy Lucha. Treasurer's report was given by Anna Whaley Old business is as follows: • The board was reminded of the recognition picture which will take place at the next meeting. • The fair board field trip was also discussed, members from the board visited Lake and Summit county fairs. • The board will also be doing a Chipotle fundraiser on August 10 from 5-9 with all proceeds going towards Stock the Trailer. New business is as follows: • The board discussed various items under Stock the Trailer, including advertising and fundraising. • The board then signed up for shifts for during fair week and met with their superintendents for their major and minor committees. The meeting was then adjourned. The next meeting will be on Aug. 7.
