Show up to the Showmobile

WILLARD — The Showmobile is the place to be every Tuesday in August if you are a music fan. The city of Willard is hosting a series of free concerts next month sure to interest lovers of country, jazz, bluegrass and gospel music. The free concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and rock on until 8:30 p.m. at the Showmobile, located at 520 City Park Drive and will take place rain or shine, according to a news release. The concerts are sponsored by Pepperidge Farms and the Willard Recreation Department. Performers include: • Aug. 5 — Tyler Boggs, a self-described "boy from a small town who loves music and performing, Boggs plays country music, both originals and covers. • Aug. 12 — Tommy Hall & The Sunlighters sing "your favorite country, bluegrass and gospel songs." • Aug. 19 — Just Jazz Live plays a mixture of genres, including covers of R&B, Motown, classic and modern pop/rock. The band alludes to their "Sinatra vibes" and are described as "One of North Central Ohio's most sought after groups". The Route 99 BBQ food truck will be serving food at each event, but attendees are also permitted to bring their own food and drinks. Organizers would like to remind attendees there is a limited amount of seats and picnic tables but they are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets or plastic sheets and spread out om the lawn to enjoy the show.
