U.S. 250 milling starts Mon.

NORWALK — The city's public works office warned drivers of potential delays and detours on U.S. 250 starting Monday. Crews from Gerken Paving will mill sections of the road as a part of the 2025 Ohio Department of Transportation Urban Paving Project, according to a release from Norwalk's public works department, which noted also that paving was expected to start the week of July 7. The department explained further in its release: The project will consist of US St Rt 61 (E. and W. Main St.) from Old State Rd to Newton St., and US St Rt 250 (Benedict Ave., Whittlesey Ave., E. League St., Milan Ave.) from S. Norwalk Road to Lais Road. Plan for detours and slowed traffic for the duration of this project.
