Norwalk Furniture names new CEO

NORWALK - Norwalk Furniture announced a new president, chief executive officer and board member Wednesday. "I am honored and excited to join the Norwalk Furniture team," Timothy Newlin said. "My goal is to bring a great culture and a solid growth plan to an already engaged owner workforce." Newlin has over 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, most recently having served as the vice president at Flexsteel Industries. During his time there, he led multiple teams in sales, marketing, product development and merchandising. "The Board of Directors worked diligently to find the right leader to propel Norwalk into its next phase of growth," the board's chairman Dan White said. "With Tim's combination of strategic leadership, innovative thinking and operational excellence, he is uniquely positioned to advance Norwalk's industry leading customer focus and accelerate our long-term strategy." Newlin said it's special for him to be back in his home state near family and friends.
