Norwalk Kiwanis February students of the month

NORWALK – Three students have been honored this month by the Kiwanis Club of Norwalk. Thomas Chime is the son of Bethany and John Chime. He is involved in Robotics, Taekwondo, and band. He is a Vex Robotics World Championship Qualifier, Buckeye Boys state delegate, second degree black belt, band president, robotics president, and a National Merit scholarship semifinalist. After high school he plans on attending a college for chemical engineering. He has been accepted to Purdue and Rose Hulman. He also plans on traveling abroad while in college. Aydan Kolk is the son of Kris and Amy Kolk. He is involved in Drama Department, Musical, Marching Band, Full Orchestra and Bowling. He's been named to the Principal's List and is in the National Honors Society. After high school, he plans on studying Computer Science for Game Development. Katie Wolcott is the daughter of Stacey and Rick Wolcott. She is involved in Golf, Orchestra, and Key Club. She is in the National Honors Society, has been named to the Honor Roll or Principal's List throughout High School, was named 1st and 2nd Team SBC, and was a Golf District Qualifier. She plans on going to The Ohio State University for Nursing, and plans to become a Nurse Anesthetist.
