Area organizations announce metings and events

The following organizations have meetings or activities coming up: Milan Public Library presents Year of the Dragon: Lunar New Year Party. Ring in the Year of the Wood Dragon with food, crafts, and fun. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. Free and open to the public (all ages). Clarksfield Township trustees will hold their February meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12 at the Clarksfield Hall. Please note the meeting day change from Tuesday to Monday for this meeting. The Huron Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a special board meeting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The February board meeting is being held on the third Tuesday of the month due to the Presidents' Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 19. The Huron County Veteran Service Office is inviting the community to the Monthly Coffee Club from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at their office, 185 Shady Lane Drive Suite C, Norwalk. The organization says, "Join us for complimentary coffee and donuts, engage in conversations with our veteran service officers, and gain valuable insights from Jami Mead about free wills."
