Plymouth, Willard pick up league wins

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth girls basketball team got back to the .500 mark in the Firelands Conference with Saturday's 54-32 win over St. Paul. With the win, the Big Red improved to 10-8 overall and 6-6 in the FC. Jaylin Branham scored a game-high 19 points for Plymouth, with Kendyll Tolbert adding 11 points. Megan Lesch scored 10 points for St. Paul, which fell to 1-18 overall and 0-11 in the FC. The Flyers host South Central (14-4, 10-1) on Wednesday. Plymouth visits Crestview (3-17, 2-10) on Tuesday. Willard improved to 9-9, including 5-3 in the SBC Bay Division. Edison fell to 7-12, 1-5.
