Hometown Holidays Saturday in 'WhoLondon'

NEW LONDON — The 21st Annual Hometown Holidays take place Saturday, Dec. 9, in WhoLondon's downtown. Presented by the New London Community Club, Hometown Holidays is a Christman Celebration for all ages. The Fire Department will present a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Fire Station at 30 Prospect St. and will be followed by the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Christmas Parade will start at 10 a.m. bringing Santa, Mrs. Claus and all the featured characters to town, with the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Jack Skellington, Elsa, Bluey and Bingo. Activities will include the Giant Gingerbread slide, live music, balloon twisting, face painting, games, dancing, food, drinks, crafts and shopping, with local merchants offering drawings, sales and specials. Anyone taking the complete Snowflake Walk will be eligible for $100 donated by the Rotary Club.
