Local students earn scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University

BEREA — Students from our area were among over 700 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall who earned more than $13.1 million in scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. The following local students earned scholarships: Kennedy Latteman, of Collins, a graduate of Western Reserve High School majoring in communication sciences and disorders, earned a $21,000 President's Scholarship. Mallory Roeder, of Willard, a graduate of Monroeville High School majoring in nursing and pre-allied health/pre-physical therapy, earned a $21,000 President's Scholarship. Conner Rogers, of Wakeman, a graduate of Firelands High School majoring in sport management, earned a $17,000 Deans' Scholarship. Gavin Ross, of Norwalk, a graduate of St. Paul High School majoring in music industry, earned a $17,000 Deans' Scholarship. Cameron Shoop, of Norwalk, a graduate of Norwalk High School majoring in sport management, earned a $15,000 Fellows' Scholarship. BW's merit scholarships are awarded to full-time students and are renewable up to four years with good academic and social standing. BW offers a wide range of financial support to its students - more than $56 million for the 2023-2024 academic year.
