Fox lied about the Big Lie

Today we found out there is no more American hero. There is no more cowboy riding in to save the maiden, wearing his white hat. The white hat signified the "Good Guy." The individual who was willing to sacrifice it all to bring justice to the wrong doing of the guy with the "Black Hat." The evil segment of America seems to be winning in small battles. They are willing to take the small slap on the wrist to have things DISAPPEAR. Why? Because they believe that American's have a short memory. That we are willing to forgive and forget as long as our daily life is not hindered. Don't worry about a young 16-year-old boy who is shot in the head and the arm through a storm door because a homeowner has been made to feel threatened by the color of one's skin. It wasn't you. Don't worry about the children and teachers who are mowed down by AR15 type guns. That's little collateral damage for having the right to own guns of any kind that are meant simply to demolish human beings. Your child is still coming home from school. At least for today anyhow. Don't worry about the ability to vote. You have a car, you have the right color skin, you have the better job that pays enough for you to care for you family. The banks are willing to give you a loan at a rate that is average across the community. You have help getting a business started. Besides, you don't vote anyhow because you don't feel you have the time to properly research who is the candidate. As long as you can make it through another week with some change in your pocket, you are satisfied. I am writing this today because Dominion won! Dominion proved that Fox lied about the Big Lie. They intentionally promoted what they called news that created division and hatred. All of it resulting in some of the above discord. It lead to social media posts by radicals who believe Donald Trump and went to Washington D.C. on Jan. 6 and created havoc at the Capitol. Those poor people are being tried based on the fact that they believed Fox's lies. Lies promulgated to make millions of dollars. Lies by Donald Trump to have poor beguiled citizens send what little money they have to make him richer than he is. He doesn't care about the people, but he does care about how much money he has. How high on the hog he can live on the backs of so many poor people who think they are being elevated by a demon of a human being. We are both losers. You have not won. You still don't have the cement pond in the back yard. You still don't have the BMW in the driveway or the butler to dress you. Or the gourmet meals that put your pound of ground beef to shame. You still live in the same old house that needs a new roof, a coat of paint, next to the house with run-down jalopy out front that will never drive away. The trash blowing across your back yard and the plastic bags and labels and food trays getting caught in your one bush of roses. The roses you had hoped would make your yard look a little nicer. Dominion proved that you need to "follow the money." If you can get enough money for a wrong done to you, why make the demon confess in front of the public what they did to create the division among the people. All the news castors are doing the best they can to put a spin on the settlement. I, however, am disappointed that they could not make Fox testify under oath of what they did. I guess the money didn't mean so much to me. I guess I wanted the cowboy with the "white hat" who had the opportunity to force them to say to the American Public, "This is what I did to create the situation in American today." "I am at fault partly for having so many American citizens jailed for their part on Jan. 6." Now I understand why my children told me I could never open a video store when they were big in the '80's. They told me I would have to offer more than Disney movies. I will forever be an optimistic, or I was until today. Marilyn Dillon is a Wakeman resident.
