Hazelwood up for AP awards

COLUMBUS — Reflector Sports Editor Mark Hazelwood is up for a number of awards in the Associated Press Media Editors 2022 contest. Hazelwood is a five-time Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association Writer of the Year winner while working for the Reflector and Sandusky Register. In his 18-year writing career, the two AP awards — to be announced next month — will give him a total of 81 writing awards from the Associated Press, the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists and the OPSWA. Also up for an award is former staff writer Mike Magnuson. Here are all of the finalists in Division I.
