OHSAA football state championship games set

COLUMBUS — Seven high school football state champions will be crowned this week at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, and the Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced the pairings and schedule. Tickets for all state championship games are on sale and must be purchased in advance at ohsaa.org/tickets. Nine of the 14 teams in the title games finished ranked either first or second in the final Associated Press state polls. Three of the championship games in Divisions IV, V and VI will feature the No. 1 vs. No. 2-ranked teams from the final poll, and all six teams in those respective games will enter with 15-0 records. All seven championship games will be televised live on Spectrum News 1. The Spectrum broadcasts are also available on the Spectrum app and ohsaa.tv. The OHSAA Radio Network will also broadcast all seven games.
