Towne and Country Players announce schedule

NORWALK — The Towne and Country Players, Inc. has announced their 57th Concert Series opening with their Annual Veterans Tribute Show, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. "Music Americana" will be performed by the Patriots Symphonic Band, an 85-member, 10-county volunteer organization, at the McCormick School Theater, Huron. Tickets are $15 but free for all veterans. The season will continue with "Christmas Celebration" as part of "Light Up Norwalk" at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27. Ashland University will perform the Concert which includes many of their Ashland "Festival of Lights" repertoire. Tickets are $12 in advance or at the door, at the Norwalk First United Methodist Church. According to T & C President, Neil Miller, the Grove City College Touring Choir from Grove City, Pa., will come to Norwalk with their "Music! Music! Music!" Concert. The 47- member choir is under the direction of Dr. Katherine Mueller, who is renown for her vocal solo and conducting work throughout the United States. The performance will be held at the Norwalk First United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, with tickets at the recession price of $12. Seating is general for both church performances but reserved at the Huron location, which is the former site of the BGSU Historic Huron Playhouse Summer Theater. All events are age appropriate but children age 4 and under are discouraged from attending.
