Willard Festival in the Park runs through Saturday

WILLARD — The 36th Annual Festival in the Park kicked off Wednesday and runs through Saturday. This year's Festival in the Park features Aquatic Acrobatic Show as the main event sponsor. The show will run numerous times daily and it is free. The festival opens at 4 p.m. every day with the rides running from 5 to 11 p.m. Join in the fun with rides by Big O's Amusements, Kids Power Wheel Races, COSI Connects and the Aquatic Acrobatic Show. On Thursday, there will be Cow Patty Bingo and live music by the Victorious Kaybirds at 7 p.m. Friday features a Garden Tractor Pull and Sandtown live music at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Festival Parade begins at 5 p.m. at the Willard High School, a pickleball tournament and live music by Rolling Outta Cleveland at 7 p.m. Big O Amusements wristbands cost $25. Festival in Greenwich this weekend GREENWICH — The 47th annual Tri-Community Joint Fireman's Festival will be held Friday through Sunday in Greenwich. Here is the schedule: Daily events Concessions, games, bingo, softball tournament and home run derby and Friends of the Library book sale. Friday 10 a.m. — Firemen's cafeteria opens 6 p.m. — Introduction of the Queen and Court at the big tent 7 p.m. — OSTPA truck and tractor pull (additional bleachers being added) Saturday 7 a.m. — Breakfast at the firemen's cafeteria 8:30 a.m. — 5-K run and walk (registration at 8 a.m., race at 8:30) 11 a.m. — Main Street parade 12:30 p.m. — South Central Jazz Band at the big tent 1 p.m. — Kids sawdust scramble (age groups) 1 p.m. — Cornhole tournament by the bingo tent 1 p.m. — Life Flight helicopter landing with the pilot meet and greet 2 p.m. — tractor and truck pull Sunday 7 a.m. — Breakfast at the firemen's cafeteria 10 a.m. — Church service at the big tent Noon to 4 p.m. — Car show at the park 1 p.m. — Pedal pull at the park during the car show 6 p.m. — Demolition derby (Fireworks to follow the derby)
