Reeder to take job in Sandusky

Michelle Reeder is resigning as Norwalk's finance director."It is with regret that Norwalk Mayor Rob Duncan and council president Steve Euton announce that the city has accepted the resignation of Michelle Reeder from her position of finance director for the city," according to a press release. Reeder joined the city in 2005, advancing to assistant finance director in 2011 and, ultimately, finance director in 2017. Reeder is leaving Norwalk to pursue other professional opportunities with the city of Sandusky.Reeder follows Josh Snyder, who left Norwalk as public works coordinator recently for a job in Sandusky.Reeder's last day with the city of Norwalk will be Jan. 3.ReederMichelle Reeder and her family are all smiles after the 1996 St. Paul High School graduate took her the oath of office as the new Norwalk finance director. With Reeder are her husband, Rick, the Milan post commander for the state Highway Patrol, and their 10-year-old son Aiden, a fifth-grader who attends Main Street School.
