Free hot meals at The Salvation Army

NORWALK — The Sally Café (Soup Kitchen) at The Salvation Army in Norwalk offers free hot meals from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays. Folks of all ages can save a few bucks by taking advantage of free meals during the week. The Summer Lunch program runs from June 3 to Aug. 19. Free meals will be available for pickup at 11 a.m. Monday to Friday at The Salvation Army and meals will also be delivered to Jefferson Street, Bouscay apartments, and Grand Avenue. Parents will need to call and sign up their kids for participation by contacting The Salvation Army office at 419-668-4090. 5K Run & Walk Saturday MONROEVILLE — A 5K Run & Wal will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday at Monroeville High School. Market in the Park returns NORWALK — Market in the Park will be held the first and third Tuesdays of the month from May through October at Suhr Family Park in Norwalk. The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will feature area artisians, farmers, small businesses, food trucks and live music.
