Roosevelt "Spider" Webb

NORWALK — Roosevelt "Spider" Webb, 80, of Norwalk, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1941, in Grundy, Virginia, and was a graduate of Wayland High School, Kentucky. He retired from Boxboard Packaging in Norwalk with over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family and attending gun shows, watching old western movies, hunting, fishing and his cat, Sam. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan Webb; children, David (Tammy) Webb of Norwalk and Shannon (James) Handy of Bellevue; grandchildren, Noel (Josh) Roeder, Rebekah (Mitchel) Lesch, Emily (James Rarden) Webb, Jacob (Telor) Ringer, Christian (Madyson) Ringer, Bethany Obermiller and Alexie Obermiller; great-grandchildren, Camden, Quilla, Aubrey, Stiles, Josey and Owen; siblings, Marilyn (Kenneth) Isaac of Wayland, Kentucky, and Melvin (Priscilla) Webb of Allen, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Webb; mother, Dixie (Crum) Webb; and stepmother, Mae Webb; siblings, George, Hobert, Alvin, Eunice, Evelyn, Anna Ruth, Oletta and Mary; and stepbrothers, Bill and Archie Greathouse. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, in the funeral home with his son, David Webb, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
