2022 Huron County Community Grants available

NORWALK — The 2022 Huron County Community Foundation Grants Application is officially open. Round 1 grant requests are due Feb. 15 and the application can be found at www.huronccf.org/grants. The community foundation is excited to aid local non-profits and public organizations in their missions to improve the lives of those in Huron County. The community foundation encourages proposals for projects that collaborate, build organizational capacity, demonstrate sustainability, and address community needs. The grants generally range from $500 to $5,000 and are typically awarded for one year only. Grant projects must serve Huron County residents. Throughout its history, the Huron County Community Foundation has awarded grant dollars totaling more than $1.2 million. Grants awarded assisted projects in the areas of education, social services, arts and culture, health and economic development. Huron County Community Foundation is a publicly funded, 501(c)3 charitable organization whose vision is to be a catalyst for positive change in Huron County through the innovative development and use of charitable resources.
