Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World

Editor's note: This is the senior project of Maci Hay, St. Paul High School. NORWALK — The Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World by Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) will be on display Nov. 7 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan and Nov. 20 and 21 at Bellevue Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Carlo was devoted to Jesus and the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. He created a website and cataloged 152 Eucharistic Miracles approved by the Catholic Church before he died at the age of 15. He was Beatified Oct. 10th, 2020 by Pope Francis. "Hello everyone! I am Maci Hay, daughter of Keith and Erin Hay, and I am a senior at St. Paul high school. "I would like to welcome you to the Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles of the World by Blessed Carlo Acutis. As many of you might know, every year, seniors have to do a Senior Project. I have been inspired by Blessed Carlo Acutis to share the good news of the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Blessed Carlo Acutis was a Passionately Catholic boy who died of Leukemia at the age of 15, in 2006. "He was extremely devoted to Christ in the Eucharist and greatly looked up to our Blessed Mother. He received his first Communion at the age of 7. From there forward, he received the Eucharist every day until he died. He often prayed the rosary and Worshiped in front of the Blessed Sacrament. At a young age, he developed an interest in technology, especially when it came to coding. He taught himself how to code and created his website that included 152 Eucharistic Miracles officially documented by the Catholic Church. He was Beatified October 10th, 2020, a year ago today. His mission was to spread the Good News throughout the world. I pray that I can expand on his mission. Like Blessed Carlo, I see a need for Christ in the world. I see a need for relationships with our Lord. "Christ loves us so much that He has given Himself to us in a way we can physically receive Him every day. Every single Mass we receive a gift of unfathomable love and it is amazing! ... It is a love for everyone, but unfortunately, so many people don't know that love is even there.
