OHSAA announces high school football Game of the Week television schedule

COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced the Friday night football schedule for the OHSAA Game of the Week on Spectrum News 1 on Tuesday. Games will broadcast exclusively on Spectrum News 1, the official television partner of the OHSAA.The Friday night OHSAA Game of the Week is specific to the Northeast, Central and Southwest regions of Ohio. Tickets are available to the public, and can be purchased for $10 athofvillage.com. The team played its first season of football in 2019, going 5-6 against a schedule that featured only one Ohio team, Dohn Community, another non-OHSAA school in Cincinnati. The other teams on that schedule, though, included Warren Central (Ind.), Clearwater Academy (Fla.), Johnston Central (Ky.), Suffield Academy (Conn.) and Pennsylvania prep school Kiski Prep.Formerly known as Fawcett Stadium, Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium was recently profiled as one of the "13 Game-Changing NFL Stadiums" by Forbes. With over 28,000 square feet of event space, the NFL-caliber stadium features world-class services. The stadium is home to three major events of the annual Enshrinement Week each August and hosts games including the OHSAA state championships and the NCAA Division III championship.
