Firelands Electric Cooperative to recognize 2021 Junior Fair exhibitors

NEW LONDON — In 2020, Firelands Electric Cooperative held its first ever Virtual Junior Fair. The program was introduced in an effort to showcase FFA and 4-H exhibitors amid COVID-19 restrictions that were in place at the time. Submitted photos of students with their animal projects were posted on the cooperative's social media accounts and in an online photo gallery. Firelands Electric would like to continue this new tradition in 2021, with a goal to highlight as many students as possible. The cooperative invites all Junior Fair exhibitors in Ashland, Huron, Lorain, and Richland counties to participate in the 2021 Virtual Junior Fair. Any student registered to take part in one of these fairs may submit a photo of themselves with their animal to members@firelandsec.com. Submissions should be received by the day following the conclusion of the exhibitor's fair. Please include the student's name, county, and club in the email, and limit entries to one photo per child. Photos received by the cooperative will be posted on Firelands' Facebook page and online gallery as they are received. Some photos may also be used in the cooperative's other digital or printed materials. For questions, please contact the Member Services Dept. at members@firelandsec.com or 1-800-533-8658.
