Fisher-Titus updates visitation guidelines

NORWALK — Fisher-Titus will be implementing level yellow visitation guidelines. The guidelines of a level yellow are: • Limited visiting hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) for all hospitalized COVID-19 negative patients.• Limit 2 visitors at a time for COVID-19 negative patients in labor and delivery. Visitors must be over the age of 18.• Visitation during outpatient appointments/procedures for all COVID-19 negative outpatients.• 24/7 visitation for COVID-19 negative patients in the emergency room, in active labor, or hospitalized pediatrics.• Scheduled outdoor, physically distanced visitation for long term care residents (1 visitor per resident, per day).• The Fisher-Titus Auxiliary Gift Shop, Sheri's Coffee House, and the Shady Lane Café are open to the public.• No visitation for COVID-19 positive patients with the exception of a patient in labor (1 visitor) or pediatrics.• Mask requirements at all Fisher-Titus facilities remain in place despite visitation changes and the recent change in the State of Ohio's mask mandate. Fisher-Titus follows guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which currently recommends anyone in a health care setting continue to wear a mask and social distance due to the vulnerable populations served. Anyone over the age of 2 is required to wear a surgical mask at all Fisher-Titus facilities including Fisher-Titus Medical Center and all Fisher-Titus Medical Care provider offices.
