Fisher-Titus now offering drive-through COVID-19 vaccines and clinics at pediatrics

NORWALK — Fisher-Titus has started administering the COVID-19 vaccine during drive-through clinics at the medical center, located at 272 Benedict Ave., Norwalk. In addition, Fisher-Titus Pediatrics is holding vaccine clinics in its Norwalk location, 282 Benedict Ave., Suite B, Saturdays for those aged 16 to 18. Appointments are required for both options by calling 419-660-2646 for the drive-through clinic or 419-668-9409 for the pediatric clinic. Calls for appointments can be made between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. "As we continue to vaccinate those in our area from COVID-19, we knew we needed options to fit the needs of our community," said Mary Helton, vice president of ancillary services who has been overseeing operations of Fisher-Titus' vaccination efforts. "So far we have been able to vaccinate nearly 6,000 people in our region. We would like to continue to see the number of people vaccinated rise and our hope is by offering these options we are able to do so." When arriving for COVID-19 drive-through vaccination at the medical center, patients should turn down Fisher-Titus Parkway from Benedict Avenue, then turn right into the first parking lot and follow the cones and the COVID Services signage directing them to the drive-up vaccination location. Those under the age of 18 attending a clinic at Fisher-Titus Pediatrics will need a parent or guardian with them at the appointment to sign consent forms.
