Toast the Edison High School wrestling team, which received a police escort into town Sunday night after placing second at the state tournament in Marion. The Chargers had two individual state champions — Max Hermes at 106 and Casey Barnett at 138. It marked the first time the Chargers had two state champs the same year and Barnett's victory made him the first two-time state champion at the school. Edison's 11 state qualifiers and seven state placers also set school records. And earlier this season the Chargers captured the state dual title for the second straight year. There will be roaming food trucks. We'll keep you posted on all the upcoming details in the Reflector. Toast Megan Culler, who won the innovation award at this year's Ohio 4-H Recognition Event. Culler, along with the 4-Leaf Clovers 4-H Club, won the award for their online 4-H camp last summer. The pandemic took away the opportunity for the local 4-Hers to attend camp, so Culler brought the camp to them. Also honored were 40-year volunteers Cathy Gale and Richard Ruess. Toast Fisher-Titus for being recognized as a 2021 top 100 Rural & Community Hospital. Fisher-Titus is one of just five hospitals in Ohio to receive the award. Congratulations to Dr. Brent Burkey, president and CEO of Fisher-Titus, and all of the hard-working employees at the hospital. Toast Firelands Regional Medical Center, which was just named by Newsweek as one of Ohio's outstanding health care providers. Firelands represented just one of about two dozen statewide hospitals to appear on the 2021 list. It is also just one of three single-hospital independent health systems in Ohio to receive recognition. Toast the news Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine anticipates full county fairs the summer. That is great news for all of the hard-working youngsters who look forward to this big week each summer. It's been a tough year for everybody with the pandemic, and this is one way that is making things just a little bit better for everybody at the school. Roast the awful news of the fire last week at a Collins home. The couple had just purchased the home and had moved in the day before the fire. Sadly, the couple lost their two dogs in the fire. The Chargers have a big lead in the three-round finals as they seek their ninth straight title. Toast the Western Reserve boys' basketball team, which defeated Willard in a thrilling district finals game to earn its first trip to the regionals in 58 years.
