Norwalk's Barber is All-SBC Lake second team

Norwalk's Elena Barber was one of two players that represented the Truckers with a spot on the All-Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division girls basketball team, which was announced by the league on Monday. Barber, a senior, was selected to the first spot on the second team. She led the Truckers (10-10, 5-7) in scoring and rebounding with 10.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She also added 1.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Barber finished fifth in the league in rebounding and seventh in scoring. Also for Norwalk, sophomore Brooklyn Davis was an honorable mention choice after averaging 6.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She also added 1.8 steals per game. Bellevue standout Cory Santoro was the Most Outstanding Performer for the Lake Division. She averaged 27.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 4.1 steals per game for the Lady Red (18-3, 12-0), who face Perkins (9-14) in a Division II district semifinal on Thursday at Ashland High School after winning an 11th straight league championship.
