Northeast Ohio Adoption Services looking for families

WARREN — Northeast Ohio Adoption Services (NOAS) recognizes that most families want to foster or adopt a baby or toddler, but older children need and deserve a loving forever family. Imagine a recently bad day you had. Who was the first person you called? Your mom? Your dad? Sister or brother? Friend? More than 1,000 teens in Ohio age out every year from foster care without permanent connections. Can you imagine having no one to call or rely on? To be alone. You have the power to change this. Consider becoming an adoptive or foster parent to an Ohio school-age child or teen because no matter how old you are, you never outgrow the need for family. NOAS invites anyone interested in fostering or adopting to register for our free virtual Adoption/Foster Care Pre-Placement Education classes taking place ONLINE starting March 11. NOAS trained, compassionate staff, will be with you every step of the way as they educate you on Ohio foster children and teens waiting for the love, stability, and support of a permanent home. Participants must have a laptop or iPad, printer, and three hours of uninterrupted time per module. "We are proud to offer the required training for foster and adoptive families virtually with experienced NOAS trainers. Feedback about the virtual training has been so positive.
