Patricia Edith Plue

NAUBINWAY, Mich. — Patricia Edith Plue, 82, of Naubinway, Michigan, died Thursday evening, Dec. 24, 2020 at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital. She was born May 7, 1938 in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Jackie (Bricker) Payne. Patricia married Clyde Plue on Nov. 16, 1957 in Berlin Heights, Ohio. Patricia was employed at Fanny Farmer in Norwalk, Ohio for several years until her retirement. A resident of Naubinway since 2007, Patricia was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Naubinway and enjoyed Christian literature, jigsaw puzzles, bird watching and games with family and friends. Pat wanted everyone to know that she loved them. Pat and Clyde spent many years camping with their family at Pymatuning State Park. After retirement, they spent their summers camping there and spending their winters in Naubinway. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Clyde in 2013 and siblings Warren Payne, George Payne and Meril Lago. Survivors include her children, Daniel Plue of Naubinway, Laureen (Timothy) Wyse of Naubinway, Wilson Plue of Brimfield, Massachusetts, Warren (Lachelle) Plue of Olivet, Michigan, Kenneth (Kelly) Plue of Greenwich, Ohio and Richard Plue of Perrysburg, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister Myrna Violet of Wingo, Kentucky, sister-in-law Shirley Zellner of Berlin Heights, Ohio, brother-in-law Terry Plue of Sandusky, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Per her request, cremation services were accorded. A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia will take place in the spring of 2021 at the Christian Fellowship Church of Naubinway and at a location in Ohio.
