Frederick J. Boose

NORWALK — Frederick J. Boose, 70, Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Norwalk Memorial Home after a short illness. He was a 1968 graduate of Norwalk High School. He was a long time employee of Boose Farms and recently retired from Norwalk City Schools. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart after serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a homebody who loved gardening and cooking, animals, and feeding wild birds. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 28 years Sue (Tuemler) Boose; a son, Tod, a daughter, Melanie: and a grandson, Max, all of Norwalk. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Neale of Montpelier, Vermont and Martha Boose of Tucson, Arizona, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Dorothy (Jackson) Boose and his first wife Sharon (Tesmer) Boose. Cremation arrangements are being made through Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A private service will be held at a later date.
