Huron soil and water supervisor election

NORWALK — The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of supervisors of the Huron Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code. Individuals who own or occupy land within the Huron Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for supervisor. There are two (2) ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot: 1.) Voting absentee until Dec. 3 by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the SWCD office at the following address 8 Fair Road, Norwalk Ohio 44857, by calling 419-668-4113 #3, or email alisa.highlander@oh.nacdnet.net Absentee ballots must be received by the SWCD office by 2 p.m. Dec. 3. 2.) Voting in-person at the office at 8 Fair Road, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, from Nov. 20 until Dec. 3. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the office is closed to the public, but the eligible voter may contact the office during normal business hours by phone at 419-668-4113 #3 or email alisa.highlander@oh.nacdnet.net to set up an appointment to receive the Huron SWCD Supervisor Election Ballot Application and Election Ballot and cast their vote by 2 p.m. on Dec. 3. Two supervisors will be elected to a three‐year term commencing Jan. 1 and ending Dec. 31, 2023. Nominees are Bradley J. Harris, Zachary Irons and Jon Valko
