Norwalk's Will Gehlhausen is SBC Lake Division MOP

Norwalk senior standout attacker Will Gehlhausen is the Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division's Most Outstanding Performer, the league announced on Monday. Gehlhausen is Norwalk's program record holder for goals in a match (6) and career (70), and is one goal shy of tying the mark for goals in a season. He has 33 goals this season along with seven assists entering Norwalk's Division II sectional championship match either vs. Galion (10-5-1) or at Clear Fork (11-2-3). The Truckers went 13-3 during the regular season, which included a perfect 10-0 in the SBC Lake. Norwalk has won the league championship in each of the past two seasons. Also earning first team honors for the Truckers was senior defender Nate LaRoche, senior midfielder Gavin Shutt and senior attacker Jose Escobedo. Both Gehlhausen and Shutt were unanimous selections to the first team. Earning second team honors for the Truckers included senior goalkeeper Ethan Tanzillo, senior defender Evan Gaston and sophomore midfielder Cam Shoop. Earning honorable mention for Norwalk was senior defender Carson Colahan.
