William "Bill" C. Taylor

GILBERT, Ariz. — William "Bill" C. Taylor, born Nov. 4, 1934, passed away July 28, 2020, while residing in Gilbert, Arizona. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Bill is sadly missed by his wife, Bobbi; daughter Cindy (Ed) Casselberry; sons Christopher (Jacky) Taylor and Daniel Taylor; sister Joann (Bill) Butler; brother Bob (Beth) Taylor; grandchildren Amanda (Adam) Manko, Shawn Taylor, Bradley Taylor, Alicia (Micheal) Frado, Megan Casselberry and Rachel Casselberry; great-grandchildren Grant Manko and Waylon Frado; and Bill's constant and faithful doggy companion, Sir Barkley, will miss him dearly. Bill was preceded in death by his son, William Taylor Jr; his grandson Jonathan; and his parents, Joseph and Thelma Taylor. Bill had a very successful business career, beginning with 26 years with the J.C. Penney Co., which brought him to the Norwalk, Ohio, area in 1976 as a manager at the then-new Sandusky Mall. He was also a national sales executive for Wikel Manufacturing and then established his own corporation, Taylor Sales and Marketing. Bill owned several businesses in Norwalk: Colonial Flower Shoppe, Caryl Crane and Touch of Class beauty salon. He was a very active community person as president of Sandusky Jaycees, a member of Norwalk city council, Rotary Club and Salvation Army. Those who wish to contribute to Bill's memory may do so to the Huron County Humane Society. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date in Norwalk.
