Jean M. Loudy

NORWALK — Jean M. Loudy, 76, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her residence. She was born Jan. 12, 1944 in Blawnox, Pa. to the late Everett E. and Delsie C. (Kauffman) Singhose. Jean enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a foster parent for more than 30 years in Huron County. Jean is survived by her children, Delsie (Don) Resor Sr., of Norwalk, Vickie (Chris) Wetzel Sr. of Norwalk, William Snow Jr. of Norwalk, Charles Snow of Norwalk and Nathan Loudy of Norwalk, Justin Loudy of Norwalk; eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; nieces and nephews; siblings, Margaret (John) Kobert of Arizona and Nancy (Mike) Black of Norwalk. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Loudy Sr.; siblings, Cheryl Singhose, Delsie Wolfe, Olive Singhose, Everett Singhose Jr., Robert Singhose,Charles Singhose and Judith Diamond. Friends may call 5–7 p.m. Friday, July 31 at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Attendees will be asked to follow certain safety and social distancing guidelines. They should be prepared for the possibility of waiting outside the funeral home as a limited number of general public will be allowed at a time. A private family service will take place at a later date.
