Norwalk FD Saturday 6:26 p.m.: Responded for a reported motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival found a single car vehicle that was involved in a hit skip accident. The vehicle suffered moderate front end damage. Fire units secured the vehicle and cleared hazards from the roadway. Norwalk PD Saturday 3:33 p.m.: A Norwalk resident came to the department to report an incident which occurred at his residence. After an investigation, a Norwalk woman was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Huron County Jail. 9:31 p.m.: The Sandusky Police Department arrested a Bellevue woman on an active warrant through the Norwalk Municipal Court. The warrant was for permitting drug abuse. A Norwalk policeman met with two Sandusky police officers at the Stone Church and took custody of the woman. She was transported to the Huron County Jail to await a bond hearing. New London PD Saturday12:12 p.m.: Caller at a New London Avenue residence reports his girlfriend had removed $700 from his closet without permission. Contact made with the female who denied the accusation. Report filed. Sunday 1:12 a.m.: Callers report hearing gunshots in the area of Clinton Street. Officers arrived and were able to determine the residence. After lengthy interviews Jonathan Polhe of Elyria admitted to the act and was issued a criminal summons for discharging a weapon within the village limits. Report filed, two weapons confiscated. 8:53 a.m.: Caller reports a disturbance between mother and daughter at a Williams Street residence. Contact made with the parties involved who were arguing over babysitting arrangements. Firelands Ambulance Serivce was contacted due to mom complaining of high blood pressure. After a brief conversation the daughter agreed to leave for the day with mom refusing transport to the hospital. Report filed.
