Fisher-Titus Health welcomes two new board members

NORWALK — Fisher-Titus Health has welcomed John Lendrum and Dr. John Hughes to the board of directors. "We are pleased to welcome Dr. Hughes and Mr. Lendrum to our board of directors," said Dr. Brent Burkey, president & CEO of Fisher-Titus. "They are both involved and respected community members who bring unique and valuable perspectives and experience." Dr. Hughes is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Fisher-Titus Primary Care in Norwalk. Dr. Hughes earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He is a member of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons and the Huron County Medical Society. Lendrum is president of Norwalk Concrete Industries. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Colonel in 2010 after thirty years of service which included multiple senior staff assignments, and deployment as Operations Chief for the 416th Engineer Command during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. A resident of Norwalk, Lendrum completed 24 continuous years as a Board Member of the Norwalk City School District Board of Education in 2019. Fisher-Titus opens three new outpatient laboratory locations NORWALK — Fisher-Titus has opened three new outpatient laboratory locations in Norwalk, Bellevue and Sandusky. Patients ages 10 and up can complete a variety of blood tests at these locations. Testing with specialized collection or processing requirements, such as glucose tolerance tests, ammonia, lactates, cultures, or nasopharyngeal samples, as well as STAT testing, will need to be completed at the main campus laboratory. The new outpatient laboratories are three of six hospital draw sites. Locations include: Fisher-Titus Medical Center; North Side Medical Office; New London Fisher-Titus Medical Care Family Medicine and its newest locations are in the Advance Neurologic Associates' buildings located at: • 5433 OH-113, Bellevue, Ohio 44811.• 34 Executive Dr, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.• 1674 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. The outpatient labs will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lab sites operate on a week-by-week basis.
