Fortunately, several corporations and big businesses with storefront operations in Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky counties are not only open right now but going forward with "mass hirings" nationwide. Some, in fact, are even offering bonuses to entice people. People can search each company's website for more information on applying and financial packages. Here is a list of some of those companies: CVS Health CVS is "embarking on the most ambitious hiring drive in the company's history with plans to immediately fill 50,000 full-time, part-time and temporary roles across the country," according to a company statement. Dollar General "The company plans to nearly double its normal hiring rate and add up to 50,000 employees by the end of April as it continues to diligently work to support customers' needs," according to a company statement. Domino's The Washington Post reports the company wants to hire 10,000 people. Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Dollar Tree "plans to hire 25,000 full- and part-time associates at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores and distribution centers across the U.S," according to a company statement. Kroger "Kroger plans to hire an additional 20,000 workers over the next several weeks to help it to continue to provide fresh food and useful supplies to communities across the country," according to a company statement. Lowe's Lowe's will be hiring "30,000 positions that will be a mix of full-time, part-time, overnight and seasonal roles," according to The Associated Press. Papa John's "The company is hiring up to 20,000 new restaurant team members," according to a company statement. Pizza Hut Pizza Hut is "hiring for more than 30,000 open positions currently available nationwide," according to a company statement. 7-Eleven 7-Eleven "expects as many as 20,000 new store employees to be hired by 7‑Eleven Inc. or by independent 7‑Eleven franchised business owners in the near future to meet increased demand," according to a company statement. Target Target posted 9,000 job openings across the country, according to CBS News. Walgreens The corporation wants to add more than 9,500 full- and part-time workers in stores nationwide, according to USA Today. Walmart The corporation recently began an initiative to hire 5,000 associates a day, according to Yahoo! News.
