Mrs. Silliman, of Easton, Conn., a sketch of whose life is given therein, has many relatives living in or near North Fairfield, as three families of Silliman's came to Huron County from Connecticut in the 40s, and their children and grandchildren are now living in this county. Silliman of North Fairfield: "This is my birthday!" exclaimed Mrs. Deborah Staples Silliman of Easton, as her grand-daughter, Miss Maud Silliman, entered her room bright and early this morning to congratulate her on living to witness the 108th anniversary of her birth. Mrs. Silliman, young in spirit if enfeebled in body, arose at 2 o'clock this afternoon. She enjoyed her usual substantial breakfast before arising, and although yesterday she had experienced a rather disagreeable day, she was much improved this morning, exhibiting vitality despite her years that would have done credit one scores of year's younger. Coming to the front E.E. Sly, who has the agency for the celebrated Ford automobile, has sold to Dr. E.W. Crecelius a Model "S" Roadster. This is the second car Mr. Sly has sold this spring, the other being a Model "K" Touring car sold to Henry Kelley of Milan.
