Edison-Norwalk football set for 40th meeting NORWALK — Friday's game between visiting Edison and host Norwalk is the 40th all-time meeting between the two neighboring school districts. The two high schools are separated by seven miles. The first 31 games in the series were in the season opener, which often fell on Milan Melon Festival weekend. The most recent renewal of the series in 2017 has seen the game rotation between weeks 2 and 5. Edison has won the last four games by a combined 142-14 score.
