Bob Griggs Jr.

NORWALK — Bob Griggs Jr., age 65, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 unexpectedly at his residence.He was born June 17, 1952 in Sandusky to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Krause) Griggs Sr. He loved hunting, fishing and telling stories. He was a retired bricklayer for Local 46, was a Cleveland Browns fan for life and loved Cleveland sports; and especially enjoyed their annual grandkids weekend.He is survived by his children, Rob (Cali) Griggs of Sandusky, Tricia (Scott) Costanzo of Norwalk and Dan (Lucia) Griggs of Norwalk; siblings, Allan (Jackie) Griggs of Norwalk, Eddie Griggs of Norwalk, Freddie Griggs of Michigan, Norman Griggs of Sandusky, Pam Gilbert of Sandusky and Jeff (Rachel) Griggs of Sandusky; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a God daughter, Carrie (Raymond) Glock; and foster children.He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca (Tinkham) Griggs on January 26, 2018; and his son, James Griggs on January 26, 2018; and his parents, Robert in 2008 and Elizabeth in 1991.Friends my call on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk with Pastor Ann Marshall officiating.
