Bank hosts first parking lot party

NORWALK — First National Bank of Bellevue will host its first Parking Lot Party from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at its Norwalk branch, 345 Milan Ave. The free community event will feature shaved ice from Wescott's Arctic Ice, games, prizes and an opportunity to meet members of the First National Bank team. Radio station 95.3 WLKR will also broadcast live from the event. Representatives from the Norwalk Arts Center will serve as special community guests and share updates on efforts to restore the historic Norwalk Theatre. The restoration project aims to reopen the theater for live entertainment, movies, arts education and other community events. The gathering is the first of three parking lot parties planned for the summer at the Norwalk branch. Additional events are scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 14 and Aug. 28, with free food, games, prizes and special guests planned. The events come as First National Bank continues its celebration of more than 150 years in business and looks to bring customers together at its Norwalk location.
