Norwalk Catholic thanks outgoing trustees

NORWALK — Norwalk Catholic Schools thanked two outgoing members of its board of trustees for six years of service to the school community. Emma Riley and Tom Dunlap served on the board from 2020-26. During that time, Riley served as board chair, while Dunlap served as board president. In a message shared by the school, Norwalk Catholic credited both Riley and Dunlap for giving their time, leadership and supporting the work of the board. School officials said their service helps advance Norwalk Catholic's mission of building on the legacy of its parishes, families and alumni, guiding students in the Catholic tradition and educating them in a rigorous academic environment to serve and lead in the global community. "Their dedication has strengthened our school community and will leave a lasting impact on generations of Flyers to come," the school said. Norwalk Catholic president Martin Linder said Riley and Dunlap have been strong supporters of the school for many years, and their service on the board of trustees helped move the school forward in many key areas, including its Vision 2037 project, teacher salary commission model and education for all students. "Norwalk Catholic is a much better place because of their leadership and their support. Even though they are no longer trustees, I look forward to working with them for years to come," Linder said.
