Stuff the Bus collection next week

NORWALK — Norwalk Stuff the Bus had a successful online registration in the month of May with over 200 students from Norwalk City Schools, Norwalk Catholic Schools and Trinity Christian Academy signing up. There will be a Collection Day for anyone interested in donating school supplies. It will be on Friday, June 26 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Social Hall on Milan Avenue. Norwalk Catholic Schools is allowing Stuff the Bus to use the Social Hall to store the donated supplies and then do all the sorting, packing, and distribution at the facility. Financial donations are also welcome. Checks should be made out to "Stuff the Bus" and sent to: First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd., Norwalk OH 44857 or can be dropped off on Collection Day. Bags containing all of the required school supplies for each grade will be distributed at the end of July. Students will come to St. Paul's Social Hall on Distribution Day and get to choose their own book bag from a large assortment available. Details regarding the distribution will be given to the parents of the registered students.
