Bears make strong showing

NORWALK — The Huron County Bears are "going strong this summer." The team recently participated in the powerlifting competition at the Ohio Special Olympics Summer Games, which took place May 29-31 at Ohio State University in Columbus. "While they returned home with medals that showcase their accomplishments, the true highlight was the unity and sportsmanship displayed throughout the event," Huron County Board of Developmental Disabilities community relations coordinator Melissa Murphy said. "Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches on a job well done."
