Teen Theatre hosting 'Alice by Heart'

NORWALK — The Norwalk Arts Center Teen Theatre is thrilled to bring Alice by Heart, a moving and imaginative musical, to the stage. Performances will take place at the Norwalk Arts Center, located at 22 East Main St. in downtown Norwalk, on the following dates this week: • Friday at 7:30 p.m.• Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.• Sunday at 2 p.m. Featuring 16 talented teens from surrounding school districts and universities, Alice by Heart brings together some of the region's most promising young performers in a captivating and emotionally powerful theatrical experience. Set in the rubble of World War II London during the Blitz, Alice by Heart reimagines the beloved story of Alice in Wonderland through the eyes of young Alice Spencer and her friend Alfred as they take shelter in an underground tube station. Together, they escape into a whimsical world filled with familiar characters, adventure and imagination while navigating themes of love, loss, courage and hope.
